Umi, Ulefone and Elephone are 3 companies very well known especially for their mid-range mobiles that announce. All three companies only very recently released 3 new mid-range mobiles, Umi Diamond, Ulefone Tiger and Elephone S7 Mini, with a price less than 150$, a price that many users don’t want to surpass when there are searching for a new mobile. Also for all shipping starts near the end of the month-beginning of the next, I believe is a good time to see what present you could do to your self or friends if you don’t want to spend a lot of money and again get the best use of your money spend on a mobile.
Design
Elephone S7 Mini it’s dimensions are 68.8 x 144.0 x 7.6 mm and it weights 145 g. The frame size is of 0.26 mm and the usable surface is just 74 %. Elephone S7 Mini body has a metallic and glass finishing with neatly curved edges. What it lacks however are the raised edges for when you keep your phone face down, there is nothing to protect the device’s smooth glass screen from being scratched. S7 Mini features a 5.2 inch LCD IPS screen with 1080 x 1920 screen resolution and 424 ppi density. Supports also 3D curved glass screen, with Corning Gorilla Glass 3, full Lamination Technology, Multi-touch and scratch resistant.
Ulefone Tiger dimensions are 77.8 x 155.8 x 9.4 mm and it weights 155 g The frame size is of 0.32 mm and the usable surface is just 68 %. The metal body has a brush finish which will help to better reveal the natural texture of metal while the camera glass has a metal ring. The tiger seems to be another well designed model from Ulefone who has built a reputation in good design and build quality. The Tiger features a 5.5 inch display with LCD IPS screen with 720 x 1280 screen resolution and 267 ppi density. Supports also Corning Gorilla Glass 3, Multi-touch and Scratch resistant.
Umi Diamond dimensions are 70.0 x 143.0 x 9.4 mm and it weights 169 g The frame size is of 0.32 mm and the usable surface is just 68 %. Umi for the Umi Diamond have used their patented Dual-Glass technology. Due to the Dual T2X-1 glass, allows to the mobile better resist from accidental bumps and scratches. The Diamond has a 5 inch display with 720 x 1280 screen resolution and 294 ppi density. Supports also 2.5D curved glass screen, Multi-touch, NEG Dinorex T2X-1 Glass and Scratch resistant.
In terms of design, and only from the specs, we could say that Umi Diamond could be a little better from the other two.
Hardware
Elephone S7 Mini under the hood has a 64 bit Quad core MediaTek MT6737T ARM Cortex-A53 clocked up to 1.5 GHz. For GPU uses a ARM Mali-T720 MP2. Cpu and GPU are helped by the 2GB of RAM and 32GB of internal storage. Memory and internal storage is more than enough to run apps and games and to store apps, games, images and video. At antutu S7 Mini reaches up to 30000 points.
Ulefone Tiger under the hood is running a 64bit Quad core MediaTek MT6737 (1.3Ghz) 4x ARM Cortex-A53 1.3 GHz. For GPU has a ARM Mali-T720 MP2 550MHz. Cpu and GPU are helped by the 2GB of RAM and the 16GB of internal storage. At antutu the Tiger reaches up to 23000.
Umi Diamond finally is equipped with the 64bit Octa core MediaTek MT6753 ARM Cortex-A53 clocked up to 1.5 GHz. For GPU the Diamond is equipped with a ARM Mali-T720 MP4. Both of them are helped by the 3GB of RAM and the 16GB of internal storage. At antutu reaches a little higher from the other two, reaching at 31000 points!
In terms of hardware, we could say Umi Diamond is a little better from the other two, due to the 3GB of RAM, something that we can see and at the antutu score.

Three mid-range mobiles, three new proposals from three very good companies, Elephone S7 Mini, Ulefone Tiger, Umi Diamond. Who is the final winner? For certain we are as we can find what we search in each of the three mobiles. If we are most interested in a big battery, Ulefone Tiger is the winner. If we are searching for the fastest mobile, Umi Diamond is with a better antutu score. You are searching something with abetter design…then Elephone S7 mini looks that could be the one.
