For any purpose to write essay you may use your smartphone. Whether you are writing an essay for school, drafting an update for your blog, or jotting notes, a writing app is required to facilitate the entire process. There is no shortage of writing apps on Play Store, and it should not be difficult to find one that bests suits you. After all, all you need is a place to type, right?

Well, there are a few useful features that you should look for when selecting a writing app. You should settle on an app that syncs with other devices – so that you can continue from where you last left off. If you want to know more designing apps, read about them here. Diverse file support is also advantageous when you need to export PDFs or .doc files.

Below is a list of the seven best writing software 2019.

    JotterPad

JotterPad is one of the best text writing apps. It offers you the option of writing in English and other languages such as Italian, Dutch, French, and Spanish. To ensure that your saved files are not lost, JotterPad allows you to sync your files with cloud services such as OneDrive, Dropbox, and Google Drive.

You can also share your ideas by exporting and sharing your files in various formats like PDF, TXT, RTF, COCX, HTML, and plain text. JotterPad has a simple interface. It does not have word editing tools like font sizes and font varieties; however, it approximates reading time and provides a word, paragraph, and character count. It also has an “extended Keyboard” option that enables you to add images or hyperlinks and change font styles.

    iA Writer

iA writer provides various features that make it stand out from other apps on this list. It has a preview mode and full markdown support that is easily accessible by swiping across the screen.Besides creating local files, you can access files on services like Dropbox and Google Drive because it offers synchronization for both services.

Additionally, you can export your documents to several formats such as MS Word, HTML, and PDF. Another killer feature is its in-built dictionary which highlights misspelled words as you type. The Night Mode feature also enhances the writing experience, and once you are done writing, you can view your document in different fonts like Mono, Serif, and sans.

    Google Docs

Because it is a Google product, Google Docs provides seamless integration with Google Drive. Google Docs also saves your work in real time, meaning, you do not have to manually save your files as it does this automatically. It also provides templates such as articles, resumes, and letters.

All files are saved in Google Docs format by default, and you can choose to make your files available offline. Google Docs provides a lot of formatting options which include text color, font style, font size, indentation, highlight color, and paragraph spacing. Other useful features include word count, spellchecker, paper size, and orientation.

    Microsoft Word

Microsoft Word is one of the best apps for book writing. It integrates seamlessly with OneDrive. Just like its desktop version, Microsoft Word offers a series of templates like research papers, newspapers, journals, etc.

The editor provides features such as paragraph formatting, font color, font size, andfont style. You can share your documents via OneDrive or as email attachments. If you are used to using Microsoft Word on your personal computer, we recommend downloading its app on your Android device as well.

    Monospace

Monospace is an app that allows you to focus on your writing because it does not have cluttered options in the text editor. Unlike the above-mentioned apps, Monospace does not offer as many features, but it has its own strengths. It has a well-designed and clean interface. It names your files automatically according to the date and time.

Monospace is viewed as one of the best Android text editor apps because of its unique and innovative concept when it comes to organizing. If you want to organize your files in different formats, all you have to do is add hashtags. You can also export your documents as either plain text or Markdown.

    Writer Plus

Writer Plus is a fantastic writing app and is among the best novel writing apps for Android. You can create and organize your work in different folders to avoid cluttering the app. You will find options to increase and decrease the font size in the word editor. Other formatting options require you to put in more work.

A heading is defined by a single hashtag and you can create unordered lists using ‘-‘or ‘+.’  You can also add quotes when you use the (>) sign. Writer Plus also has a night mode which can be modified to black the settings function of the app.

    Writer

Writer is a writing app that is very similar to Writer Plus. It is regarded as a basic version of Writer Plus. Writer can be used to write without much formatting which makes itthe optimal letter writing app for Android and takes very little storage space on your phone. You cannot create folders on Writer – only files. The text editor only has basic statistics such as the estimated reading time, character, and word count. It’s funny to say but with these apps you can write an essay or a book you haven’t read and much more.

These are the best writing apps for Android 2019. Carefully read the description of all the apps that have been discussed above and download the one that best suits your writing needs. Whichever app you choose, you can be sure that you will have a pleasurable writing experience on your Android device.
