Huami officially released the third generation of GTR and GTS watches, named Amazfit GTR 3 and Amazfit GTS 3, priced at 899 yuan, $170.
They also brought Amazfit GTR 3 enhanced version of Amazfit GTR 3 Pro, two versions: leather watchband (Gobi brown) 1199 yuan, fluorine rubber watchband (obsidian black) 1099 yuan.
The GTR 3 Pro features four major upgrades over the GTR 3:
1. Bigger screens
Amazfit GTR 3 Pro features a 1.45-inch ultra Retina AMOLED ultra clear display with a resolution of 480×480 and 331ppi. For the first time in history, 70.6 percent of the screen is on the same size phone.
For comparison, the GTR 3 has a 1.39-inch screen with a resolution of 454×454 and 326ppi.
The maximum brightness also reached 1000nit, the conventional brightness of 500nit, the display effect is vivid and delicate and fine.
2. exclusive fluorine rubber watchband/leather watchband
Unlike GTR 3’s silicone strap, GTR 3 Pro offers leather strap (Gobi brown) and fluororubber strap (obsidian black) in two pairs. The leather strap recreates the high-end texture of a classic watch, providing comfort and durability, with just the right business flavor. Fluorine rubber watchband touch is more smooth, both heat resistance, oxidation resistance, oil resistance and corrosion resistance advantages, whether it is outdoor sports, or daily wear, it can provide comfortable experience.
3. Exclusive access to blood pressure health monitoring and research
Amazfit GTR 3 Pro is equipped with Huamiyan’s PumpBeats blood pressure monitoring engine for the first time to achieve non-invasive, sleeveless blood pressure measurement on the watch.

In addition to NFC and Bluetooth 5.1 support, the Amazfit GTR 3 Pro also supports WLAN 2.4ghz.

It’s important to note, though, that because of the larger screen, the GTR 3 Pro‘s battery life is shorter than the GTR 3’s, with daily battery life of 12 days (compared to 21 days for the GTR 3) and 30 days in basic watch mode (compared to 35 days for the GTR 3).
