Xiaomi Mi Pad 6 Debuts Next Year: Snapdragon 8+ Processor Upgrade


Today’s news, blogger digital chat site revealed that Mi Pad 6 will be released next year, most likely with the Mi 13 Ultra debut.

According to previous disclosures, the most obvious upgrade to the Mi Pad 6 is its chip, which is powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8+, a significant performance upgrade over the Snapdragon 870 used by its predecessor.

It is reported that Qualcomm Snapdragon 8+ is based on the 4nm technology of Taiwan Semiconductor Manufacturing Co., LTD., with the super-large core main frequency increased to 3.2GHz, while the performance is improved, the power consumption of Snapdragon 8+ is also greatly optimized.

According to the official, the CPU power consumption is about 30% lower than that of Snapdragon 8, and the GPU power consumption is up to 30% lower. The overall platform power consumption is about 15% lower than that of Snapdragon 8.

In terms of running points, Qualcomm Snapdragon 8+ ‘s Antutu comprehensive score exceeded 1.1 million points, while the Snapdragon 870 on the previous generation tablet scored less than 800,000 points, showing an obvious performance gap between the two.
