Beelink BT3 Pro is an upgraded version of the Beelink BT3 mini PC. This new mini PC of the brand China Beelink now includes as main features an Intel Atom x5-Z8350 SoC and 4GB of RAM on board but also find a new VGA port and minor changes in the design of its box. As always some improvements that are well received and that resulted in Windows 10 running more fluid with this new hardware.
Design
The Beelink BT3 Pro as the design has the usual black square design, with a large aluminum heatsink positioned on top of the machine. While many brands still struggle to place their solution under the motherboard, making dissipation more complex in a small box. Beelink understood that placing the heatsink upwards would facilitate natural convection cooling of the system. It is equipped with 1 x USB 3.0, 2 x USB 2.0, LAN 1000M, SD/TFT Card Slot, HDMI, VGA Port, 3.5MM microphone jack and DC Port. The Beelink BT3 Pro weighs only 0.2480 kg and its dimensions are 12.00 x 12.00 x 2.40 cm.
Hardware
Under the Beelink BT3 Pro, we find an Atom X5-Z8350 from Intel. A quadruple quad-core quadruple threaded process from 1.44 to 1.92 GHz with 2 MB of cache and an Intel HD 400 graphics circuit. Combined with this chip, 4 GB of RAM and 32 GB and 64 GB of eMMC storage. Limited storage compensated by the presence of an SDXC card reader which will extend the possibilities of the machine somewhat.
Features
The built-in Wifi is 802.11a / b / g / n and associated with a Bluetooth 4.0. The connectivity includes an audio jack for headphones and microphone combined in 3.5 mm, USB 3.0, two USB 2.0 ports, HDMI output, VGA output, and a Gigabit Ethernet port. The Beelink BT3 Pro comes with a VESA mounting bracket for Windows 10, just to fit behind a screen or a piece of furniture. It may also be laid flat but always be careful not to cover it to let the chassis clear so that it can properly dissipate the heat of its components.
Conclusion
The Beelink BT3 Pro comes in two versions, one with 4GB RAM/32GB ROM at $119.99 and Second with 4GB RAM/64GB ROM at $129.99. Both versions I have found them at Gearbest and they are in Flash sale.
