In fact, Huawei Mate 9 Super Charge is also one of the biggest highlight to support 4.5V/5A ultra large current. In press conference, the CEO, Mr Yu has shown that Super Charge has four features such as smart compatibility, fast efficiency, low temperature continuously,  multi-security, compared with Huawei Mate 8 fast charge, Super Charge is 50% faster, 400% faster than Iphone 7 plus, it can charge up to 58% power in the first 30 minutes.

According to Huawei official video, Huawei Mate 9 uses the intelligent charging chipset, which can do real-time communication by SCP protocol and  power adapter, recognize the load difference between the power adapter and USB cable. In charging process, it can coordinate power adapter output with the most compatible voltage for battery smartly according to the battery voltage needs to avoid unnecessary consumption or lost that the smartphone inner part changes voltage again.

In heat control, Super Charge 4.5V/5A reduced 50% power consumption than traditional 9V/2A, In addition, Huawei Mate 9 adopts 8 level heat dissipation to reduce the heat accumulation effectively. In charging safety, Huawei Mate 9 has five protection features, each protection feature has 3 level protection net for safer charging.

So how is Huawei Mate 9 charging speed? According to latest test, Huawei Mate 9 can charge 21% power in 10 minutes for 4,000mAh battery. It only takes 60 minutes to charge 90% power. In charging speed, it is faster than other smartphone quick charge solution.

In terms of curved line, Huawei Mate 8 only charged 11% in 10 minutes, but in 30 minutes, Huawei Mate 9 has reached 57% power, after 60 minutes, it has achieved 90%, but Huawei Mate 8 only has 63% power.

In addition, Huawei Mate 9 temperature test is better than Huawei Mate 8. Under the 20℃ indoor temperature, Huawei Mate 8 keeps the temperature over 30℃, but Huawei Mate 9 has 25℃ temperature. In the first 30 minutes, Type C port has obvious heat increasing, after 40 minutes, USB Type C temperature is down to the lowest level. Therefore, Huawei Mate 9 has very good super charge function.
