Recently, the entire appearance of the iPhone 15 has been exposed upside down by third-party renderings, and detailed CAD drawings of the four new models have been released, including specific size data.
Ice Universe also revealed a detailed comparison between the iPhone 15 Pro Max and its predecessor, the iPhone 14 Pro Max.
First of all, the overall appearance of the new machine is almost unchanged, with the front still being the spirit island of pills and holes, while the back is a matrix-shaped three-lens module.
However, it should be noted that there are some changes in the size of the iPhone 15 Pro Max. The body circumference of the iPhone 15 Pro Max is 159.86*76.73* 8.25mm, and the total thickness is 11.84mm if the lens bulge is included.
Compared to the previous iPhone 14 Pro Max (160.7mm*77.6mm*7.85mm), the new model is considerably thicker.
This means that the weight level of the new model is likely to rise again, beyond the 240g, untroubled half-jin model of its predecessor.
However, this increase in thickness could simply be a side effect of changing the assembly method, as the iPhone 14 Plus has been changed to the iPhone 4-era way of removing the back case, making it easier to repair later and replacing the battery without removing the screen.

Of course, there’s one more “small change” in the image that’s most important to both users and Apple. The bottom port has been replaced with USB-C, and this time all four models are unified.
