Like most mobile digital products, the OnePlus Ace 2 and OnePlus Ace Pro follow the “buy new, not old” trend. However, currently, the OnePlus Ace2 offers more benefits in terms of price and configuration.
Regarding the battery, the OnePlus Ace Pro has a 6.7-inch, 1080P flexible straight screen with a 720Hz touch sampling rate advantage. Meanwhile, the OnePlus Ace2 has a 6.74-inch curved screen with a higher cost, but it boasts 1.5K resolution, 1440Hz high-frequency PWM dimming, and multi-level refresh rate adjustment. Thus, it surpasses the OnePlus Ace Pro’s overall quality.
In terms of hardware, both models feature the Snapdragon 8+ processor and a VC vapor chamber area of 5177mm². Nevertheless, there are still performance differences between the two models. The OnePlus Ace2 is faster than the OnePlus Ace Pro since it supports LPDDR5X, has an additional rendering chip for improved game quality, and supports game cloud computing private network.
In terms of cameras, the primary difference between the two models is the primary camera. The OnePlus Ace Pro has a 50-megapixel primary camera with a Sony IMX766V sensor. In contrast, the OnePlus Ace2 has a 50-megapixel primary camera with a Sony IMX890 sensor, which can bring in more light and improve imaging performance.
As for the battery, the OnePlus Ace2 has a longer battery life with a built-in 5000mAh battery, but the charging power is lower than that of the OnePlus Ace Pro. However, the speed of 100W flash charging is not wrong.
Overall, the OnePlus Ace 2 offers an infrared function, a more natural curved surface transition, and a firm texture than the OnePlus Ace Pro. With certain advantages in the in-game experience, screen, camera, and battery life, the OnePlus Ace2’s lower price makes it more cost-effective than the OnePlus Ace Pro.
