The brand Vorke announces a new mini PC embedding a processor Intel Celeron Seventh generation. The Vorke V5 is both compact and scalable while having full connectivity in a small footprint. The Vorke V5 is distinguished by an external appearance different from the previous models but also by original technical choices that confirm the originality of this brand. With 12.8 cm wide for 13 cm deep and 3.2 cm thick, this mini PC is really surprising.
The Vorke V5 abandons the classic black dress of the previous models for a slightly more playful aspect. The chassis remains in ABS but the belt of the case mimics the brushed aluminum. The edges are softer, more rounded than the Vorke V2 and take a little spirit of the very first model of the brand.
The Vorke V5 is again wise not shipping an Intel Core chip but a Celeron 3865U. A 1.8 GHz dual-core model from Intel’s Kaby Lake generation. This chip displays a TDP of 15 watts, embeds 2 MB of cache and an Intel HD 610 graphics circuit. Not the most powerful chip on the market but a solution that should be able to handle daily tasks without worries and offer good performance multimedia. VORKE V5 Mini PC is powered by the Intel Kabylake 3865U, a 64-bit dual-core processor based on the Kabylake architecture. In addition to dual CPU cores with operating at 1.8 GHz, the chip also integrates an HD Graphics 610 GPU and a dual-channel DDR4-2133 memory controller.
Combined with this chip, the Vorke V5 offers two DDR4 RAM slots in SO-DIMM format. He will be able to manage a maximum of 32 GB of ram. The storage will be provided by an SSD slot format M.2 2280. These elements will be accessible from the bottom of the machine that unscrews. One of the check-off features of the Intel Kabylake 3865U-powered VORKE V5 is the support for dual-channel DDR4 memory, meaning that you can install 2*16GB DDR4 RAM stick to the host.
