The Chinese firm has officially announced the Chuwi Hi9, a tablet based on Android that is aimed at the devourers of multimedia content and also those who want to enjoy the huge catalog of games offered by the Google application store. Chuwi is one of the most popular Chinese manufacturers of tablets and laptops. Last year it released Chuwi Hi8 Pro tablet with 8 inches Full HD display, Windows/Android systems, 2GB of RAM and 32GB of internal memory. It was a really interesting device for the budget price. This year 2018 the Chinese manufacturer plans to release next generation of its tablet. It will be called Chuwi Hi9. There are already known specifications and features. Here is a comparison between the Chuwi Hi8 Pro and Chuwi Hi9.

DesignChuwi Hi9 Tablet PC 8.4 inch Android 7.0 MTK8173 Quad Core 4GB RAM 64GB ROM Dual WiFi

The Chuwi Hi9 will have an unobtrusive design. The case of the tablet is made of metal and is held in black color. Around the display, there are quite thick edges, as expected in this price range. The operation is via on-screen buttons. A home button or even a fingerprint scanner does not exist. On the back is the manufacturer’s logo. There is also a camera on the front and back. The Chuwi Hi9 will have an 8.4-inch display installed. This size is a pleasant mediocrity, which is large enough for texts and videos but still makes a pleasant operation with two hands possible. Its dimensions are 21.65 x 12.95 x 0.79 cm and a weight of 350g. The resolution is very high with 2560 x 1600 pixels and ensures good 360ppi for an image without individually visible pixels. However, the high resolution is also reflected in an energy consumption and a reduced battery life. Apart from that, the OGS-IPS display should have good viewing angles and vivid colors and The Chuwi Hi8 Pro tablet is an 8-inch tablet, with a good construction but made entirely of plastic. On each side has a metal strip that gives it a premium design. However, it would have been preferable to have a metal unibody construction but would make the device more expensive. It is only available in white, both on the front and the back. The tablet features an 8″ IPS capacitive touchscreen with a resolution of 1920×1200 (WUXGA). Its dimensions are 21.12 x 12.32 x 0.93 cm and a weight of 350g. The device is small enough to carry in a backpack or purse.

Just looking at the Chuwi website, you will see that the manufacturer listed the device with ROM (internal storage) at 32Gb, that it is actually 17Gb user-usable, so we would recommend using microSD for extra room.

    Features

As connection possibilities, the Chuwi Hi9 tablet offers a conventional MicroUSB connection, a headphone input and a Micro-SD slot for memory expansion. The 5000mAh large battery cannot be changed and even a SIM slot does not exist. On that is installed from manufacturing facility Android 7.zero and no longer, as with the bigger brothers a number of the CHUWI pills, Android, and windows. As a photographs unit, CHUWI relies on the PowerVR GX6250 GPU, that is already rather extra mature. There have been also cameras set up, a front and a major digital camera. information regarding sensor and backbone, but, the producer nonetheless guilty.whether or not a cell net connection via a SIM slot is viable, continues to be unclear. however, the 2.45 GHz twin-band WiFi allows you to experience rapid internet in your home. one of the photographs additionally seems to be that CHUWI does no longer yet depend on a USB kind C connector at the Chuwi Hi9, but stays true to the micro USB popular and Chuwi Hi8 Pro has an HDMI port so you can enjoy the look of a tablet PC on a TV screen with 1080P resolution. In addition, you can also use WiDi to display the tablet PC screen on the TV screen wirelessly without the need to plug any wires. Bluetooth 4.0 supports the use of an external mouse and keyboard that has a Bluetooth connection. Chuwi Hi8 Pro Has 2 pieces of camera that are a front camera and rear camera. Each uses a 2MP sensor that can produce sharp and bright images. You can easily switch between Windows & Android Flawlessly operating systems by pressing the application button that is already available from this Chuwi HI8 Pro software. Switching between OSs happens quickly and easily. Chuwi Hi8 Pro comes with USB Type-C, you can transfer data at high speed and have bidirectional advantages so you do not need to see the position of the USB head when connecting to a USB port. It supports WiFi 802.11b/g/n and Bluetooth 4.0. The Chuwi Hi8 Pro tablet has a 4000mAh battery, with a battery run time of up to 3 hours of video playback. It is charged by a 100-240V 5V 2A charger via USB Type-C.
