Most customers, when looking for a new laptop, simply go to the store and buy one of the models available there. On the other hand, more inquisitive searches on various shops, including those with equipment from Chinese manufacturers. Chuwi has announced that its first full view laptop” LapBook Pro” will soon hit the market.
You could certainly meet with the Chuwi brand, at least on the occasion of Chuwi LapBook 12.3, which was prepared for you by my namesake. However, this company has many more interesting devices in its portfolio and Chuwi LapBook Pro will undoubtedly be the next one.
The first thing that draws attention in his case is design. As you can see on the graphic at the top, the laptop is equipped with a display that covers (at least according to the manufacturer’s declaration) as much as 90% of the lid surface. Diagonal and screen resolution are not known yet, but – looking through the prism of the Chuwi LapBook SE – you can expect a 13-inch IPS Full HD 16: 9 aspect ratio.
Keyboard characters are beautifully engraved with radium carving technology, and the white soft backlight enables accurate input even in darkness.
As for the components, I must warn you immediately that Chuwi LapBook Pro – despite the addition of “Pro” in the name – will not be a machine for demanding tasks. The laptop is supposed to work on the Intel Gemini Lake processor, most likely the Celeron N4100. It is a quad-core, four-layered unit, produced in a 14-nm lithographic process with a base rate of 1.1 GHz, although it can “accelerate” even to 2.4 GHz.
Chuwi LapBook Pro will also be equipped with 4GB RAM and 64GB eMMC memory, but there will also be an M.2 SSD slot on board, so the user will be able to insert a high-capacity SSD drive there (probably up to 128GB). The list of parameters will be completed, among others 3.5 mm audio connector, USB-C, full-size USB 3.0 and micro HDMI and Pre-installed Windows 10 system, ultra large touch panel, and support for multiple touch gestures help you handle your business more efficiently.
