Google released the first Beta version of Android 12L in December, bringing a number of optimizations and improvements specifically for foldable and large-screen devices, and has released updates to a number of Pixel phones.
Today, Android 12L released its Beta 2 version, with few feature changes, mostly Bug fixes and the latest January 2022 security patch.
Since Beta 2, system behavior and apis have been finalized. App adaptation is now available for Android 12L. Android 12L has a standard API level (API level 32).
Fix an issue where the clock on the lock screen was not in the center of the screen.
Fix an issue where all apps in recent App View were displayed as black images with a “App not available” message.
Fix an issue where using gestures to switch between apps would sometimes display the previous App state on a portion of the current App.
Fix an issue where certain ICONS on the lock screen were too small when viewed on a large screen.
Fix an issue where the lock screen was sometimes left on after unlocking the device.
Fix an issue that caused bitmap images to disappear in widgets or otherwise render incorrectly.
