Athought Qualcomm released Snapdragon 835 processor for not long time ago, and there are only four smartphones to be powered by Snapdragon 835 processor, they are Sony Xperia XZ Premium, Samsung Galaxy S8, Xiaomi MI6 and Sharp Aquos R, but Snapdragon 845 processor has been confirmed by its official.
In the developer center of Qualcomm, Droidholic has leaked three new processor, namely, SDM630, SDM660 and SDM845. But the detailed information needs to be acquired by certification developer, in addition, Qualcomm has removed the news soon, but other media has made the screenshot. According to Taiwan product line expectation, Snapdragon 845 will be expected to produce by TSMC with 7nm process.
But TSMC has shown to other shareholders in April that 7nm has been in trial production, it will be in mass production next year, in technical standard, 7nm process has improved over 25% performance compared with 7nm process. The power consumption reduces 35%.
As for Snapdragon 660 and Snapdragon 630 processor, we can be sure they will be released on May 9, which will be adopted 14nm process, the former will use Kryo own processor, 4+4, GPU Andreno 512 GPU. Stay tuned.
