Recently, Meizu and Xiaomi both released entry smartphone below $150, they are Meizu M5 and Redmi 4, Redmi 4A, the Redmi 4 and Meizu M5 sell at the similar price and they both support fingerprint scanner. So which one is better, Xiaomi Redmi 4 and Meizu M5?
Specs Comparison
Redmi 4 is powered by Snapdragon 430 and Snapdragon 625 Octa core processor, its performance is more powerful than MT6750 processor, the main advantage of Redmi 4 is the Snapdragon 625 which is similar to the processor that these high-end smartphones such as OPPO R9S, Huawei Nova, Nubia Z11 MiniS use. So Redmi 4 is the cheapest Snapdragon 625 smartphone. So in terms of processor, Meizu M5 can not be the rival of Redmi 4, especially advanced version.
Battery

The advantage of Meizu M5 is the front fingerprint scanner, which other smartphones at the similar price don’t have, and it has better design, Meizu M5 has more color choices with nice beauty. But the disadvantage is the plastic design. Compared with Redmi 4, they have similar price, but in terms of specs comparison, they have their own features in design, and Redmi 4 is better than Meizu M5 in performance, battery life, screen resolution and craftsmanship. So it is more competitive.
