Xiaomi Redmi 6 vs Redmi 6A vs Redmi 6 Pro Comparison Review: Which One is Your First Choice?

Chinese company Xiaomi introduced budget smartphones Xiaomi Redmi 6, Redmi 6A, and Redmi 6 Pro. They come to replace last year’s Redmi 5, 5A & 5 Pro and are made in the now popular frameless design. The new Xiaomi Redmi 6, Redmi 6A, and Redmi 6 Pro are high quality and beautifully designed. With 5.45/5.84 inch FHD + displays, a compact design and dual cameras offer everything the beginner needs. let’s see what the differences between the new Xiaomi Redmi 6, Redmi 6A, and Redmi 6 Pro. All are budget smartphones, so it’s all about the quality-price ratio.

    Design

Despite the Xiaomi Redmi 6 and Redmi 6A being budget smartphones, it still features some great specs. On the Xiaomi Redmi 6 is a dual rear camera aligned at the top left corner in a horizontal direction. While the Xiaomi Redmi 6A features a single rear camera. There isn’t much difference between the Xiaomi Redmi 6 and Redmi 6A, you get a front Corning gorilla glass with an aluminum unibody. There’s also an antenna line at the top and bottom of the smartphones. The Xiaomi Redmi 6A and Redmi 6 measures the same 8.3mm thickness. While the Xiaomi Redmi 6A weighs 145 grams and the Redmi 6 weighing 146 grams. The Grey, Blue, Gold, and Rose Gold body colors are available for both the Xiaomi Redmi 6 and the Xiaomi Redmi 6A.And The Xiaomi Redmi 6 Pro is a compact, medium weight smartphone with dimensions of 149.33mm x 71.68mm x 8.75mm and a weight of 178g. Compared to the Redmi 5 (152 x 73 x 8mm), the Redmi 6 Pro is even more compact despite the larger display (due to the notch). Due to the 19: 9 format, the phone is slim with 72mm and is thus very good in the hand. With red, pink, gold, blue and black, there are 5 different colors to choose from, but whether this is taken over in the Global Version is still questionable. The design is characterized by the dual rear camera, which is placed horizontally on the back and of course the iPhone X Notch on the front. The cheap Redmi smartphone is definitely reminiscent of an iPhone X, for which you could order the Redmi 6 Pro 8 times.

    Display

Xiaomi Redmi 6 to feature a better display but that wasn’t the case here. The Xiaomi Redmi 6 and Redmi 6A sports a 5.45 inch IPS LCD panel with 72.7% screen-to-body ratio. Their display features a 720 x 1440 pixels resolution, an 18:9 aspect ratio and 295 pixels per inch density. This is a win for the Redmi 6A cause it’s like a smaller model of the Xiaomi Redmi 6. And Finally Full HD in a Redmi smartphone, with Notch. The 5.84-inch display dissolves with 2280 x 1080 pixels in 19: 9 format. It brings the Redmi 6 Pro on Flagship-worthy 432 pixels per inch and should be so sharp. The brightness is also Xiaomi with high 500 cd / m² and Xiaomi special features such as automatic contrast and the reading mode are of course also there. It’s an ordinary IPS display, and you should not expect an AMOLED panel in the low budget range. So you can adjust to extremely good viewing angle stability and natural colors.

    Hardware

The hardware department is probably the main difference between both smartphones. The Xiaomi Redmi 6 is being powered by MediaTek Helio P22 chipset, PowerVR GE8320 graphics processing unit and an Octa-core processor, which is clocked at 2.0GHz. While the Xiaomi Redmi 6A is being powered by MediaTek Helio A22 chipset and a Quad-core processor clocked at 2.0GHz. The graphics processing unit of the MediaTek Helio A22 is unknown at this moment. The MediaTek Helio P22 and A22 are both built with 12nm process technology. The only difference is that the Helio A22 runs on Quad-core (4-cores) while the Helio P22 runs on Octa-core (8-core). The Xiaomi Redmi 6A runs on MIUI 10 skin on top Android 8.1 Oreo, 2GB memory and 16GB storage. While the Redmi 6 runs on MIUI 10 skin with Android 8.1 Oreo and 3GB memory with 32GB storage or 4GB memory with 64GB storage. And The Xiaomi Redmi 6 Pro is powered by a Snapdragon 625 and delivers very good performance for a low budget device. The processor shines with an excellent energy efficiency and was almost overused by Xiaomi. The Adreno 506 GPU certainly provides a solid performance for games of all kinds. The system may look forward to MIUI 10 of course but must take to the final release with MIUI 9.5 on Android 8.1 basis. The Global Version of the Redmi 6 Pro will be followed by the Global ROM with Playstore and German language. The memory versions are available in 3/32, 4/32 and 4/64 GB.

    Features

The single rear camera of the Xiaomi Redmi 6A packs a 13MP sensor, f/2.2 aperture and LED flash. While the dual rear camera of the Xiaomi Redmi 6 packs a 12MP primary sensor with f/2.2 aperture and a 5MP secondary sensor with f/2.2 aperture. Up front, is a 5MP front-facing camera with a f/2.2 aperture for both the Xiaomi Redmi 6 and Redmi 6A. The Xiaomi Redmi 6 and Redmi 6A packs the same non-removable Li-on 3000 mAh battery, which not so good. I remember their predecessors, the Xiaomi Redmi 5 has a 3300 mAh battery while the Redmi 5A has a 3000 mAh battery. And Xiaomi Redmi 6 Pro Equipped with front, a 5-megapixel sensor is provided, which ensures razor-sharp images. The self-timer also eliminates the annoying pressing on the trigger. At the same time, the camera can be used to unlock the device. The Face Unlock feature unlocks the smartphone when it detects the owner within fractions of a second. Should the recordings meanwhile be higher quality, the rear camera offers far more potential for snapshots. The dual camera is equipped with a high-resolution 12-megapixel sensor. This is supported by a 5-megapixel camera. In an interaction with each other, breathtaking shots with bokeh effects can be realized. Even videos can be realized with up to 1080p at 30 frames per second. This also promises a particularly high duration. The reason for this is the 4000 mAh rated internal battery. Of course, location services can also be used without restrictions thanks to full GPS support. A fingerprint sensor on the back of the slim case completes the overall package.

    Conclusion

According to several aspects comparison between Xiaomi Redmi 6, Redmi 6A, and Redmi 6 Pro, All are budget smartphones which are affordable, So according to what exactly you might be looking, you can find, in Design, Hardware, and Features. According to overall comparison with Xiaomi Redmi 6, Redmi 6A, and Redmi 6 Pro, you will know the main difference and similarity. You can buy from Gearvita.com at the very cheap price.
