6 Indispensable Business Apps for Android Devices

As far as platforms go, Android has been ready for businesses for quite a while. That being said, it can be a chore to find the app you need when you need it. Considering the vast number of apps available at the Google Play Store, finding those business gems you need can be a long and quite involved process. Bearing that in mind, here’s a quick look at a few apps that are must-haves for any Android device you’ll be using for business. Top business insurance companies use this type pf app such as Pembroke Tech Insurance.

    Evernote

When it comes to having something on hand when you need it for scanning any sort of document, Evernote is the ideal solution. It’s one of the best scan apps on the market and offers quite a few other essential features as well. You can use it on phones, tablets, and even PCs and Macs and it will even save webpages offline for you when you need it to. It’s also great for taking notes and finding what you need within those notes with a quick keyword search.

    PIA

If you’re going to be using your Android device for business, a VPN is crucial. PrivateInternetAccess might be just what you need. Its servers are ultra-fast, and there are more than 3,000 of them spread out through 29 countries. They don’t log your activities, and you get military-grade encryption and security with unlimited bandwidth.

    Google Drive

Almost every single Android user has at least one Google account. Most of them use Google’s powerful feature called Drive. The ideal method for leveraging Drive from your device is by installing the Drive app. This will allow you to manage, edit, and even create documents in Drive. If you happen to need support for MS Office in Drive, you can also install Quickoffice. This will let you work within those Word docs you’ve got in your Drive account.

    Splashtop

If you ever need remote access to your desktop, Splashtop Remote Desktop is what you need. This app is compatible with both Macs and PCs, and it’ll stream your complete desktop right to the Android device you happen to be using. It features a proprietary protocol that allows it to stream hi-res video right in real-time. The only thing it can’t do is transfer files from your PCs and vice versa.

    Cloud Print

If you’ve ever needed to print anything from your Android device, you’ll know that you need an app for that. Cloud Print will allow you to print things from your device to any printer connected to Google Cloud Print. After you install the app, it’s easy to share your images from apps such as Gallery right to Cloud Print so that you can print them. This is a free app that you can use to send print jobs to your printer no matter where in the world you might be.

    SignMyPad Pro

There will be times when you need to have the ability to sign documents while you’re not in the office. This is the app you need for that. SignMyPad Pro will even embed GPS coordinates for the signer for another level of security. Yes, there is also a free version, but the Pro version has all of the features that power business people’s needs. This includes things like location awareness and red ink.

If you happen to be looking for a fantastic stable of apps that are business-ready in order to cover your bases, the ones you’ve read about here today are a good start. Add these to the tools that are already built into your Android device and your office on the go will be ready.
